Automatic and manual software updates in iOS

On iOS, the auto software update feature is also enabled by default. But unlike Android, the operating system of iPhones and iPads allows you to configure it for each individual application that supports this feature.

To activate auto-update of all installed software, do the following:

The iTunes market allows you to update software on iPhone and iPad via your computer. More precisely, it allowed until recently, since its current version, 12.7, no longer supports this function.
