In the case of the Google Chrome browser, the Download Master extension can even intercept file download links and automatically add them to the downloads of the desktop manager. That is, it is not necessary to start the download with a command from the Chrome context menu; the download will appear in the window for adding the desktop Download Master and when you directly activate the link by clicking the left mouse button.
But if you need to download many files with one click from distribution authors who do not know how to package files into thematic archive folders, you need to call the context menu on any of the links on the web page and select the command to download all links. Then, in the window that appears for adding Download Master downloads, you will need to deselect all the chaos that could theoretically be downloaded from the web page, leaving only the necessary files. In our case, for example, only images are left.
The functionality of the Download Master extension is additionally placed as a separate button on the Google Chrome toolbar. Among the downloader options available when you click the button on the browser toolbar is also a checkbox responsible for intercepting links. If you remove it, you can transfer downloads to the desktop Download Master, as in other browsers, only with a command from the context menu. Directly clicking on the download link will launch it in the local Chrome downloader.

The same crap happened to me. IDM used to download from YouTube, but one day I gave up. It gives an error like “You are not allowed to access this server.” It is “YouTube” that blocks downloads because it is unprofitable, it needs views.
