Another thing is important - when Major Degtyarev passes under the necessary arches, the teleport will stop throwing him back, and he will find himself right in the room with the desired artifact - a green ball hanging on a tree. If the hero doesn’t feel well and doesn’t want to waste the first aid kit, then you can simply stand in a puddle under the artifact - its life-giving power is so great that it spreads over a radius of several meters. At the same time, hunger will pass.

But be careful - as soon as the artifact is removed from the tree, a pseudo-dog will immediately appear in the room. You can shoot him or immediately retreat to the stairs and climb up - you won’t have to go through the room with portals on the way back.

What properties does it have?

The artifact truly has outstanding properties. It adds +2 to health, +2 to stamina, -2 to bleeding, +1 to saturation. That is, now you can run around the Zone without carrying around foods that are quite heavy. And you will have to spend bandages and first aid kits much less often.

Alas, "Heart of the Oasis" has a serious minus. It is highly phonic - radiation +4. You'll have to constantly swallow antirads, but it's better to find the "Bubble" artifact. It just perfectly fights -4 radiation, so it will be able to balance the negative properties of a valuable find.

The influence of the artifact on the ending

Of course, such an artifact as the “Heart of the Oasis” could not but have an impact on the ending. And, as practice shows, it is better to keep it for yourself. In this case, the new slide will not appear in the final presentation.

There are no special containers for collecting and carrying artifacts; stalkers calmly carry all found specimens in backpacks. Such artifacts do not interact with the main character and do not have a negative effect on him. The use of artifacts occurs thanks to special cells built into a protective suit or body armor. The number of cells at the start is limited to two, but their number can be increased by upgrading and modernizing the suit from the technician Azot (sits at Yanov station, location Vicinity of Jupiter) and Cardan (at Skadovsk, location Zaton). When placing artifacts on the belt of an armored suit, do not forget about the negative properties - this can not only damage your character’s health, but also lead to death.

When interacting with artifacts, it is worth remembering the mutually exclusive effects. For example, if you want to increase the carrying weight of a suit, you need the following combination of artifacts: 2 Goldfish (+24 weight +6 radiation) + 1 Gravity (+8 weight +2 radiation) + 2 Bubbles (-8 radiation). Thus, he receives only a positive effect, in the form of increased bearable weight by 32 kg, without the negative effects of radiation.

Buying and selling artifacts

Collecting and selling artifacts is quite a profitable activity, bringing in an impressive income, considering that the price of one artifact on the stalker market can reach up to 24,000 RU. Pricing is regulated by demand and rarity, so in addition to searching on your own, you can take tasks from merchants to search for rare specimens.
