Registration in the system ==>>

Hello, friends! This is Andrey Khvostov, author of the blog and founder of the project. I decided to leave a review about the work of Wallet One services.

Today my review will be of interest to everyone who works in e-commerce, as well as ordinary Internet users who often buy and pay for services online and are looking for a simple and safe service.

Competition among such payment services is constantly growing, and online payment providers are forced to attract customers with new features and special conditions.

One of these companies, Wallet One, along with its competitors, is actively developing and improving payment solutions. It is known in the market for two services. “Unified Wallet” is a multicurrency wallet in which you can transfer money to other users of electronic wallets and pay for purchases in Russian and foreign online stores. “Unified Cash Desk” is an aggregator of online business payment solutions.

I read a lot of reviews about Wallet One - both positive and not so positive, and decided to figure out on my own the features, advantages and disadvantages of this payment system.

First, some background information. The international universal payment service Wallet One has been operating in the field of e-commerce since 2007.

In addition to the e-wallet and tool used by stores that sell goods online, Wallet One has 500,000 terminals for depositing funds, as well as several ways to withdraw funds in different currencies. In addition, the company also develops individual projects for the tasks of various businesses, for example, lotteries, banks and other large companies.

In this review, I decided to combine reviews of the “Unified Cash Desk” and “Unified Wallet” - two services of the Wallet One company. I’ll start with the cash register, which on many forums is called a good alternative to Yandex.Checkout, Robokassa, PayOnline and other payment services.

With Wallet One, Internet entrepreneurs get access to all popular methods of accepting payments when concluding one agreement: Internet acquiring, online banking, electronic money, via SMS, cash through payment terminals and communication shops - in total more than 100 methods of accepting payments.

Another important advantage noted by users of the payment service from Wallet One is multi-currency, with the help of which any store can go beyond the Russian market and increase conversion by accepting payments in foreign currency. Legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and even non-residents have the opportunity to start working with the “Unified Cash Office”.

Feedback on the work of Wallet One services - how to connect the “Unified Cash Desk”

One of the main features that distinguishes the payment system from Wallet One is the connection process. On various forums I came across a lot of positive feedback about the ease of connecting the “Unified Cash Desk”.

Indeed, you can register very simply in four steps. The site has detailed instructions that describe all the stages of connecting the aggregator, down to the smallest details, so I decided to only briefly highlight the main steps.

1. Registration

We start by registering an account on the page, indicating your cell number or email. Next, your account will be created in the Wallet One database.

In it you will need to add the necessary personal information, there you can change the password and view the statistics that interest you. To log into your account, you will need to indicate your phone number or e-mail as your login.

Already in your account in “Settings” you can manage stores and, for example, start a new project. All details are described in the tips, so this will not cause any difficulties.

By the way, Wallet One has different requirements for personal and business accounts and sets different limits. A business account requires providing information about a legal entity and signing an agreement with any operator that is a partner of Wallet One, however, the possibilities for transactions here are higher.

And to work with a personal account in the “Unified Cash Desk” you will need standard identification, which all users of electronic wallets undergo for unlimited transactions with their funds. I will tell you in detail about identification a little later.

In Wallet One, online services have the ability to select the currency units in which they will be billed. Of course, in this matter, each entrepreneur must take into account the characteristics of his customers and business segment in order to make the most profitable use of the multicurrency of the payment aggregator.

2. Activation of an online store account

The second stage is activation. Here you will need to enter information about the store and confirm contacts through which you can keep in touch. A checkbox is also placed here to agree to payment for the services of the “Unified Cash Desk” service.

Instructions are sent to the specified address on how to quickly confirm the project in the payment system.

  1. Moderation stage

All payment services moderate projects before starting work. In the “Unified Cash Desk” the moderation procedure is more strict, but I would not consider this a disadvantage.

Quite the contrary, this approach at the start allows you to settle all the formalities once and for all and work in the future without any unexpected checks or surprises.

At the moderation stage, Wallet One specialists check the legitimacy of your business activity, the completeness and truthfulness of the data that you specified in your personal account profile, etc.

After completing this procedure, online stores linked to personal accounts can immediately begin accepting payments and withdrawing funds in any convenient way, subject to the specified restrictions for accounts of this type.

And when working with business accounts of online stores, you will need to conclude an agreement in order to use unlimited opportunities for withdrawing money.

If moderation is successfully completed, Wallet One will send you the following message:

By the way, I can’t help but mention another nice competitive feature of the “Unified Cash Office” - it is multi-project, that is, the ability to run several businesses within one office.

Serial entrepreneurs will especially appreciate this tool. In one screen you can manage different services and projects: attach new ones, edit information on old ones, switch, view balance, history, change settings, etc. At the same time, each store displays its own balance, so you can easily track the success of all projects separately.

  1. Technical integration

Technically, absolutely any user can set up a “Unified Checkout” in a store without understanding the intricacies of the integration process. To do this, you do not need to have any special knowledge in the field of website design and payment instruments.

Moreover, you don’t even need to set up integration if you have a small business and few orders.

For such cases, Wallet One provides a function for sending customers links to pay for orders by e-mail - in the interface of the “Invoices” section there is a “Submit an invoice” button. In addition, on a special page of the site you can create such a link-invoice yourself.

Technically, integrating the “Unified Cash Desk” will be necessary for large Internet services and projects - then the process of accepting payments will take place automatically. Wallet One has two solutions for this:

  • Connecting a ready-made payment module

Review of Wallet One services - mobility

About mobility. Another pleasant bonus that Unified Cash Desk clients receive is free mobile versions developed for Android and iOS.

Directly on your mobile phone, at any time and anywhere (of course, if you have an Internet connection), you can track all payment transactions with statistics on payment methods and detailed analytics. Well, isn’t this wonderful in our mobile times? The application is called Merchant W1, you can download it from Google Play and the App Store

By the way, those who are interested and want to try have the opportunity to see the “Unified Cash Desk” “in action” - in a demonstration store

About the “Unified Cash Desk”, this is probably all I wanted to say. Now let's look at Wallet One, a custom service for those who need an easy-to-use tool for e-money payments and transferring funds to other users.

Feedback on the work of Wallet One services - a short overview of the “Single Wallet” Wallet One.

Wallet One positions itself as a service that has made online payments simple and convenient. The main advantages that all users note and I can confirm are five-minute registration, a large number of services that can be paid for with a minimum commission, or even without it, and of course, the variety of these services: mobile communications, fines, Internet, TV, Viber, game currency, lotteries, social networks, etc.

You can also transfer funds to a charity or another user (even one who does not have a Wallet One wallet) and much more. You can top up your wallet from terminals, from a bank card, and you can also withdraw money from your account in a variety of ways.

But the best thing, of course, is not to withdraw money from your wallet, but to pay a variety of providers with these funds. All these payments can be made from an account on the website or through the mobile version of the wallet. The Wallet One wallet application is developed for Android and iOS operating systems.

So, you can create a Wallet One wallet in a few minutes. To do this you need to open the page https://www.walletone.com/ru/wallet/. When you click on the “Registration” button in the upper right corner, a window will pop up where you indicate your mobile number. It is to this phone number that you will receive passwords for any payment transactions.

Please keep in mind that if you lose your mobile phone or change your number, you must immediately notify Wallet One customer support to avoid problems with access to your funds.

To enter your personal wallet account, use your wallet number, consisting of 12 digits, or your cell phone number in the format +7XXXZZZWWYY.

Of course, there is a function to change the password. Look for it in the Settings/Security section. If you forget your login passwords, you can use the one-time temporary password that will be sent to your phone.

Control Panel – Feedback on Wallet One services

Everything here is simple and clear. All information is available in the column on the right:

  • Payment (with a large selection of providers and services whose services you can pay for);
  • Transfers (for example, to another user’s wallet account, and also, for example, to transfer money to a bank card or account);
  • Replenishment (where you can link your bank card to replenish your wallet account, as well as find other ways in which you can conveniently replenish your wallet);
  • Exchange (useful if you want to pay for a purchase in foreign currency in foreign stores);
  • Templates (here you can save regular payments and not waste time entering data each time to make a payment. In the same section you can delete and edit recurring payments);
  • History (the entire transaction history so you don’t miss anything);
  • Analytics (will help you navigate the expenses of your wallet and optimize spending).
Section “Settings” – Feedback on the work of Wallet One services

It is important to know about one feature of electronic wallets. Russian law does not allow anonymous use of funds in electronic wallets with more than 15,000 rubles in the account.

Passing identification (or, more simply, presenting documents) will free you from restrictions and open up opportunities with expanded limits and transfers. You can see how identified wallets differ from unidentified ones here:

What is identification and how to go through it - review of the work of Wallet One services

Many users believe that the rules for identifying the Wallet One wallet are very complex, I decided to figure it out on my own and was convinced from personal experience that there is nothing complicated here.

I passed the Skype identification without any difficulties. First, you had to send scanned or photographed documents (passport, SNILS and application) by email.

They look through them (the main thing is that the photos are clear and readable). They offer to choose a time when it is convenient for you to call on Skype.

Then they call and ask to see the original documents sent. In total, this call lasted no more than 5 minutes. In my opinion, identification via Skype is an excellent and most convenient way. In the case, for example, with Yandex.Money, you had to go to their office with documents and an application, but here everything can be done without leaving your home.

We are accustomed to the fact that without a passport, no bank will even talk to us - to open an account or make any other transactions in a bank, you need an identity card. To be honest, I don’t understand why this process seems so incredibly difficult for e-wallet users.

Feedback on the work of Wallet One services - an identified online wallet

An account in an electronic wallet is practically a bank account, only opened on the Internet. A service that provides the opportunity to open an electronic wallet, just like a bank, is responsible for everything that happens with your funds, as well as for their safety.

Wallet One has a license from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, and in case of any violations, the payment service (like any bank) has its license revoked. So I advise my readers who decide to create a “Single Wallet” to treat identification as an inevitable formality that must be observed in exchange for an expanded list of available operations with this wallet. Again, I repeat, I was convinced from my own experience that this devil is not so terrible.

Identification in different payment services can be done in different ways, although in general they are all similar. Wallet One clients have the opportunity to identify themselves using one of the following options:

  • - provide an application and passport at one of the Contact system points;
  • - visit to the office with a passport, where you can fill out an application;
  • - undergo video identification. To do this, you will need a computer with the Internet and Skype or Viber installed. You will be able to choose the time to call the Wallet One operator;
  • - You can also write an application, have it notarized and send it by mail.

Feedback on the work of Wallet One services – Payment

In my opinion, electronic money is good for paying profitably without leaving home and, for example, being able to send money to friends or relatives.

With the Wallet One wallet, all these options will be open: top up your phone, pay for utilities, pay for the Internet, buy currency in some computer game, pay off fines, etc. – in general, a standard set, available in other wallets. The main question here is the commission percentage. U Wallet One is average on the market, and in some places it doesn’t exist at all.

Review of Wallet One services – Security criteria

For me, this is perhaps the main criterion when choosing a service for electronic payments. With this case, everything is in order in the Wallet One wallet: the built-in anti-fraud system identifies fraudsters, all operations are carried out in accordance with international security standards PCI DSS, using the SSL protocol, and the Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode security systems - in a word, a complete set for this , so that you don’t have to worry about the security of your electronic funds.

Feedback on the work of Wallet One services – Topping up the “Single Wallet”

You can top up your Wallet One wallet in a variety of ways, most of which are commission-free. You can view them here: https://www.walletone.com/ru/wallet/topup/

Non-cash replenishment is a bank transfer directly using the details or a transfer from a VISA or MasterCard card. There is a small feature that needs to be taken into account. When replenishing your account with a payment card, you will be limited in your ability to use this money - you can only spend it on certain services that are available to anonymous users.

If the wallet is not identified, payments can only be made in favor of a limited number of operators (mobile phone, housing and communal services services, TV and Internet, IP telephony, fines and others that are not subject to the ban on payment with “secured money”).

Also keep in mind that if you decide to top up your wallet with a plastic card, you will be required to prove that you are its owner; for this, a test withdrawal of an amount of up to ten rubles will be carried out from your card and you will have to indicate the exact number of funds withdrawn.

You, as the cardholder, can find out this amount in your account on the bank’s website, in the received SMS if you have telephone notifications enabled, or, for example, you can find out from the bank operator by phone.

If you decide to withdraw your funds from the “Unified Wallet”, you will be offered several options: transfer directly to your bank account or card, or receive in cash at post offices or Unistream system offices. Can view the entire list of withdrawal options.

Do not forget to carefully read the commission that will be deducted from the withdrawal amount. As for the time of enrollment, some transfers are delayed, others are almost instantaneous. Keep this in mind so as not to get into trouble when you need to withdraw funds immediately.

A notable feature of the “Single Wallet” is that it can work with a large number of foreign currencies, such as the dollar, euro, national currencies of Ukraine and Belarus, Kazakhstan (tenge), Tajikistan (somoni), Azerbaijan (manat), Kyrgyzstan (som ), Georgia (lari), Poland (zlaty).

Feedback on the work of Wallet One services – Conclusions

In general, my review of the work of Wallet One services is this – an excellent alternative to other electronic wallets and payment services with a large number of different features, reasonable tariffs and, most importantly, convenient mobile versions.

A single wallet is an electronic payment system that allows financial transactions between participants in this system to be carried out in real time.

Description of the single wallet system

The electronic payment system single wallet w1 is quite easy to use and allows you to perform transactions with the following currencies:

  • Russian ruble;
  • Belarusian ruble;
  • rand (South African currency);
  • Ukrainian hryvnia;
  • U.S;
  • tenge;
  • somoni (Tajik currency);
  • Euro.

To start working with the desired currency, you can switch to another language.

The single wallet payment service allows you not only to carry out transactions within the system. You can also pay for the services of mobile operators, carry out loan repayment transactions, and pay for satellite television. Using a single wallet, you can pay in online stores, pay for hosting and make many other payments, including in online games.

The single wallet service is multi-platform and applications for mobile devices on the Android platform (W1 Android application), as well as for devices with iPhone OS (W1 Light application) can be used to operate the service. W1 Web is used to manage the wallet from browsers.

It is also worth noting that a single electronic wallet gives its users the opportunity to transfer electronic money to other systems, for example, Yandex.Money and WebMoney. E-wallet users also have the option of internal messaging. Phone single wallet is another rather interesting feature that allows you to send SMS to mobile phones of all Russian operators.

Replenishment of a single wallet

Users of any electronic payment systems, including the W1 system, sooner or later have a question - how to replenish a single wallet. There are several ways to replenish a single wallet:

  • at payment acceptance points;
  • replenishment from a bank card;
  • at electronic money exchange points;
  • sending an SMS message to a short number;
  • using self-service terminals;
  • through money transfer systems.

To top up your single wallet account, you definitely need to know its number, consisting of twelve characters, or a linked and confirmed phone number. You can find out this information by logging into your personal account - single wallet.

This combination of data, in fact, is an analogue of a handwritten signature and is used to confirm all transactions, including for performing such an operation as replenishing a single wallet.

Withdrawing funds from a single wallet

Like any electronic payment system, the single wallet system provides its users with the ability to withdraw funds. To do this, you can use a postal order (with a post restante notice). You can also withdraw funds at payment acceptance points of the CONTACT system. Another way to withdraw funds is to transfer to other payment systems.

It is worth noting, however, that to withdraw funds through the CONTACT system, the minimum amount must be 60 rubles, and when making a postal transfer - 600 rubles. When transferring electronic funds to other systems, the minimum amount is determined by the system itself or the exchanger through which you make the transfer. The same applies to the commission - it is very difficult to clearly name the percentage, since in each specific case it is determined individually.

W1 Wallet One is an electronic payment service that allows real-time financial transactions between all its users. The owner of the system is the closed joint stock company "Information Processing Center" (ZAO "IPC") located in Moscow. Thus, the legal space of W1 is Russia, the functioning of the system and contractual relations between its participants are regulated by the current legislation of the Russian Federation.

However, the W1 Single Wallet electronic payment system operates not only in Russia, but also in other countries, including Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and South Africa.

The W1 service provides its clients with ample opportunities. So, with its help you can:

  • pay for mobile communication services;
  • pay for the services of cable and satellite television providers;
  • pay for Internet service providers;
  • pay for housing and communal services;
  • make a loan payment;
  • accept or send payment within the system;
  • make a purchase in an online store;
  • transfer funds to other payment systems (WebMoney, Yandex.Money, RBK Money, etc.);
  • purchase a Ukash voucher without commission (a universal electronic voucher designed for payments on the Internet);
  • pay with an 8 percent commission for the services of the international VoIP provider Betamax.

For W1 Wallet One users there is also an internal messaging service.

In order to receive a W1 electronic wallet, the user needs to go through a simple registration procedure by entering a login in a special form (E-mail or mobile phone number is used as a login) and a CAPTCHA code, after which a unique 12 is sent to the specified email address or mobile phone number -digital wallet number and password to log into the system. The user can set his own password instead of the one assigned in the Settings - Security section.

To log into the system, use the wallet number or the e-mail/mobile phone number entered during registration.

Users of the service can open an electronic account in national currency, as well as exchange their funds for the currencies of other countries (Kazakh tenge, Russian rubles, South African rands, US dollars, Tajik somoni, Belarusian rubles, euros or Ukrainian hryvnia).

You can manage your wallet in any of the following ways:

  • using a personal computer (via the W1 Web web application, accessible from any browser);
  • using a mobile phone (via the mobile version of the W1 Wap web application or using W1 Java Mobile);
  • using the W1 Symbian Mobile application, designed for smartphones running the Symbian operating system;
  • using the special W1 Windows Mobile Touch application for devices with Windows Mobile OS;
  • using the W1 Lite application for Android OS devices;
  • using the W1 iPhone application, designed specifically for Apple devices.

Participants of the Unified Wallet system also have access to the additional service "Unified Cash Desk", which allows them to accept various payments in cash, by bank transfer and electronic money. The service is intended for online stores and allows you to customize the payment form in such a way as to provide customers of trading platforms with the widest possible choice of payment methods.

There are 2 types of accounts in the "Unified Cash Desk" - personal (for individuals) and business accounts (for legal entities), endowed with the capabilities and functions necessary for one or another category of users - individual entrepreneurs or companies.

Depending on the size of the business (from a startup with a turnover of 40 thousand rubles to a large corporation with a turnover of 5 million rubles or more), the system’s tariffs for using the service also differ. The larger your business, the less commission you will have to pay.

Users of the "Unified Cash Desk" service can use the "Delivery" service - a joint project of the Wallet One payment service and the RedExpress courier service. “Delivery” operates throughout Russia and allows you to: order RedExpress services, track the status of delivery orders and use an additional method of accepting cash from customers.

When connecting to the service, a prerequisite for an online store is the location of the warehouse in Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Moscow or Leningrad regions, as well as the availability of physical goods in the warehouse.

Deposits and withdrawals, service fees

You can top up your W1 e-wallet account in several ways: cash(through payment terminals in different countries of the world; bank transfers in any bank in Russia; money transfer systems CONTACT, Leader, UNIStream, City, Anelik; at payment acceptance points based on mobile phone stores), non-cash(from Visa and MasterCard bank cards; from a bank account through Internet banking systems) and using electronic money(exchange of electronic currency Yandex.Money, RBK Money, etc. in W1; transfer of funds to W1 from payment systems Yandex.Money, RBK Money, MoneyMail and other systems).

With any of the above methods, after replenishing the W1 account, the user receives a free SMS notification of the receipt of funds to the mobile phone number he specified. However, the period for crediting funds to the Wallet One e-wallet can vary from a few seconds to 5 days, depending on the transfer method.

The fastest way is to replenish your wallet using payment terminals, payment acceptance points and a bank card. The longest time will be replenishment through a branch of a Russian bank.

The system has established the following service fees and limitations on the size of a one-time payment when replenishing an electronic wallet:

  • When replenishing your Wallet One wallet with a bank card, a commission of 1.5% is charged; The minimum replenishment amount is 100 Russian rubles, the maximum is 3000 rubles.
  • When replenishing by bank transfer, a commission is charged individually by the bank; The maximum transfer amount is 300,000 Russian rubles.
  • When replenishing through the money transfer system, a commission of 0 to 2% is charged; The maximum one-time payment amount is 300,000 Russian rubles.
  • When replenishing your account in payment terminals, the commission ranges from 0 to 6% depending on the terminal; The maximum transfer amount is 14,000 Russian rubles.
  • You can top up your W1 wallet using payment acceptance points based in mobile phone stores with a commission from 0 to 5%; the maximum payment is 14,000 Russian rubles.
  • When replenishing your Wallet One wallet using other payment systems (Rapida, QIWI, WebMoney, etc.), a commission of 0 to 5% is charged; the commission for exchanging electronic money from various payment systems into W1 funds is set individually by each exchanger.
  • When repaying the loan, the user will have to pay a 2% commission + 50 rubles;
  • Payment for services such as cellular communications, television, utilities, etc. is made without commission.
  • Payment of bills from online stores, as well as transfer of funds within the system, occurs without commission.

You can also receive cash from your W1 e-wallet in several ways: by postal transfer, having received cash at any post office in Russia (the commission will be 4.5%); at payment acceptance points of the money transfer system CONTACT and Anelik (commission is 4%, but not less than 60 rubles); transfer to bank cards VISA and MasterCard (the commission for withdrawals using this method is 2.9% + 60 Russian rubles); transfer to other payment systems with a commission from 0 to 2.9% (WebMoney, Yandex.Money, MoneyMail, QIWI, RBK Money and Rapida, as well as by purchasing a Ukash voucher).

More detailed information about the size of commissions can be found on the official website of the Unified Wallet system in the Tariffs section.

System security and funds security

The strength of the Wallet One system is instant online payments, rather than storing funds. In this regard, the service developers did not focus on excessive protection of user wallets.

Responsibility for the security of funds lies with the user of the system. The wallet owner must independently take measures to prevent unauthorized access to his account by following the simplest security rules: do not disclose your account login and password to third parties. This data is transmitted over a secure channel in encrypted form only once per session during user authorization, which protects it from interception, and limiting login attempts eliminates the possibility of brute force.

As additional protection for services, only an SMS notification is provided to confirm monetary transactions.

In turn, the W1 system does not require any personal data from its client.

Funds stored on the accounts of users of the W1 Unified Wallet payment system are secured by assets placed on the settlement accounts of CJSC IPC.

The relationship between users of the service and the IPC company is regulated by the current legislation of the Russian Federation and the Agreement on the use of the Single Wallet Payment Service.

Pros and cons of the W1 Wallet One payment system

System advantages:

  • ease of registration and authorization;
  • anonymity (the user independently chooses the amount of personal information provided to the system; there are no requirements for providing personal data to system clients);
  • Availability of mobile applications for wallet management;
  • integration with many services (online stores, online games, service providers, etc.);
  • a variety of methods for depositing and withdrawing funds;
  • integration with other payment systems.

Disadvantages of W1 Wallet One:

  • limits on deposits and withdrawals of funds;
  • lack of LiveChat for quick communication with the administration;
  • low level of system security;
  • private technical errors when transferring funds;
  • misleading system users (there is a known case when the system administration made a statement about the launch of a new free service “Single Phone”, with the help of which, allegedly, users could make free calls to mobile numbers around the world, but in fact the fee for the service was still charged).

Payment system W1 Single Wallet is a service designed for conducting financial transactions in real time. Jack One appeared in Russia in 2007 (June 2). The owner is the Moscow CJSC Information Processing Center.

In 2010, Wallet One officially began working in Ukraine, and a little later - in China, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. There are currently 15 international partners. Offers are used by residents of more than 80 countries, 12 million user profiles are open. The official website is available in 7 languages. The turnover is inferior to WebMoney or Skrill, but still, the total result is quite significant - about 2 billion US dollars per year.

For the most part, the platform’s work is aimed at the comfortable and efficient implementation of financial transactions related to payment for mobile communication services, IP telephony, TV - satellite and cable, Internet providers, utilities (housing and communal services), security and safety systems, loan repayment, Internet - hosting, online games, taxi services, payment of fines. This multi-platform system is also suitable for online shopping.

At the top there is a navigation menu and detailed information about the account; below the window is divided into news, management and operation functions (duplicates the navigation panel in more detail). The "Selected Providers" panel automatically contains information about the accounts to which payments were made; for repeated transactions, there is no need to re-enter the information.

How to register?

The registering person provides an email/telephone number. Next, you should check the box to agree to the terms of the Public Offer. Click “Register” and a message with a 12-digit number and password will be sent to your phone. You can open Wallet One in 11 national currencies.

You can also connect and work with it:

  • using a mobile phone with Internet access (“W1 Java Mobile”). You can access the wap version of the site from a mobile device with GPRS Internet and work through the Web interface;
  • for a computer with Windows Mobile OS there is an application "W1 Windows Mobile Touch";
  • "W1 Symbian Mobile" is installed on smartphones with Symbian OS;
  • For Windows Vista lovers there is "W1 Vista Gadget".

Why do you need to identify yourself?

To identify and manage funds, the W1 unified wallet uses a registered and verified phone number or 12 wallet license plates. This combination of identification data is an analogue of the user’s handwritten signature (HSA). It is used for unambiguous, indisputable confirmation of transactions, orders, demands, notifications on behalf of the user.

Go through identification to increase transaction limits and remove other restrictions. It is not possible for third parties to obtain the account login and password if the client keeps them secret and adheres to the rules of safe operation. Information in encrypted form is transmitted over a secure channel; this happens once per session during authorization, which protects against interception, and the limit on login attempts prevents brute force.

Operations for depositing, withdrawing, transferring funds

The vast majority of transactions are carried out free of charge, commission fees are provided for the repayment of credit debt (2% + 50 rubles), exchange for the currency of other electronic payment systems (up to 2%). You don't have to pay anything for intra-system translation. You need to know the twelve-digit number of the recipient's wallet.

Before receipts are accepted, the sender has the right to cancel the payment if he discovers that he made a mistake. Among the options there are indications of the validity period of the operation and the enrollment code (password). You can also turn off the confirmation feature.

Withdrawal of funds

  • by postal transfer (request on demand, with notice);
  • at CONTACT points;
  • Visa/Mastrcard;
  • Unistream;
  • Bank transfer;
  • ACH Transfer;
  • SWIFT;
  • Casher Check.

Replenishment methods

The method depends on the currency and country. In the "Replenishment" section, select the account currency. A list of available options will open. You can specify the replenishment option: cash, non-cash, electronic.

Cash:

  • using almost any terminal. Enrollment is often instant; for some terminal networks it takes up to a day. Commission - from 0 to 7%;
  • bank transfer;
  • communication salons Alt Telecom, MTS, Svyaznoy, Euroset, etc.;
  • Contact (commission 1.5%, but not less than 60₽);
  • UNI Stream (commission fee - 1%, but not less than 50 rubles, at service points of partner banks of OJSC CB Unistream - 2%).

Cashless options:

  • via Internet banking from a bank account: Alfa Click, Sberbank Online, PSB, Russian Standard Bank (only for individuals, commissions depend on bank tariffs, period - 3-5 business days);
  • from Visa and MasterCard cards of Russian banks and financial institutions of the former CIS countries, allowing online transactions. The user will have to log in. Before linking the card, indicate “Personal data” in the “Settings” tab (full name, passport data), and confirm the mobile phone number.

In addition to the methods described above, money can be credited by exchanging other electronic currencies through exchange offices. When receiving money from exchangers, confirmation is required from the receiving party to complete the process (Personal Account → "Transfers" → "Inbox" → "Accept"). Otherwise, the balance will not increase. For those registered in QIWI, the opportunity to top up Valet One from a QIWI wallet is open. The same goes for the opposite.

When using the “plastic” for the first time, activation will be required (once, then everything happens automatically). About 10₽ is blocked on the card account. Activation is carried out in your Personal Account ("Settings" - "My bank cards"). The received amount acquires the status of “Protected money”; you can only use it to pay for services. Returns are only possible for the same plastic. It is forbidden:

  • make transfers between wallets and to other PSs;
  • repay credit debt;
  • pay for purchases in online stores;
  • withdraw money using normal methods.

Conveniences, privileges, wishes

Hello, dear readers of the blog site. Today I want to continue the conversation about electronic money, popular in RuNet and in the world. The turn has come to a relatively new virtual payment system under a very simple name - Unified Wallet, which was launched by Wallet One (abbreviated as W1).

Among the obvious advantages of this service, we can immediately highlight the ease of registration, the ability to work with your account anonymously, and a fairly low or no commission for moving funds within a payment system.

It should also be noted that there are a huge number of services that can be paid for through this system and a large number of ways to deposit and withdraw money from the account. Well, recently it became possible to connect the Unified Cash Desk for accepting payments on your website(no commission). This payment system reminds me most of all.

But a barrel of honey can be ruined by a fly in the ointment. All these advantages and benefits may come to naught if your account is blocked or problems arise with the transfer or withdrawal of funds.

Unfortunately, there are negative reviews on the Internet about working with the Unified Wallet. True, you have a lot of negativity (for example, according to Likpei or, and even bourgeois and).

Of course, if possible, it is better to work with major market players ala WebMoney (through protection through) or, but they are also not ideal and not comprehensive.

Registering a wallet on the W1 website (Wallet One)

Let me tell you about the advantages that the W1 system has, and in the comments you will reflect your opinion about the reliability and ease of working with it, which you have learned in practice. Personally, I have not had any problems yet, but I am not an active user or holder of this electronic money.

In general, the Wallet One wallet is positioned mainly for paying for cellular services, Internet access, utility bills, exchanging for game currency and many other popular and not so popular services. I would not store or accumulate my electronic savings in this currency, because due to the maximum ease of registration and use, the system does not place much emphasis on ensuring the safety of storing funds.

Although even in the super complex WebMoney security system, hackers find holes quite easily. Well, in the Unified Wallet you can, for example, initially link your account to your mobile phone number, and not to my mailbox (they just found my password for , and only then cleared my WMR account). It is much more technically difficult to intercept an SMS than to gain access to your mail.

The single wallet at the moment is also notable for the fact that in addition to the usual rubles (W1 RUR) and dollars (W1 USD), it has the ability to work with the national currencies of Ukraine (hryvnia), Kazakhstan (tenge) and, attention, South Africa (rands) . What is noteworthy is that they began working with the South African currency (rands) much earlier than with hryvnias and tenge. I wonder what exactly this paradox is connected with?!

Essentially, the money you transfer to your W1 wallet is placed in the accounts of a closed joint stock company called the Information Processing Center (IPC). The service was created in 2007 and the experience accumulated earlier was used in its development. Before this, the IPC company had experience in creating a payment system, namely X-plat. But this is not the point and is mentioned here more for show.

So, registration on the website W1.ru occurs according to an extremely simplified scheme, which is an undoubted advantage. At the top of the page there is a panel for logging in or registering new users:

Click on the “Registration” button and see a window where you are offered the choice of either entering your mailbox address or indicating your mobile phone number. It is clear that the option using cell phone to login to your single wallet, from a security point of view it greatly outperforms the email option, since intercepting one-time passwords sent to a mobile phone will be quite problematic for attackers.

However, the option of using email as a login will allow you maintain anonymity, because the cell phone will still be registered in your name. And the loss of your mobile phone will cause serious problems with access to your money, although it can still be solved after communicating with the technical support service.

You will be able to indicate your email when registering, and then in the settings of your single wallet (Settings - Profile) indicate your cell phone number and confirm it (you will receive an SMS with a code). In the future, you can use any of three options as a login to enter the W1 website:

  1. Confirmed address of your mailbox
  2. Confirmed mobile phone number in international format (such as +7915...)
  3. Twelve-digit number of your wallet

Quite convenient, don't you think? When registering using an E-mail as your login, you will receive a letter with an assigned unique number and a generated login password to the specified mailbox:

You will be free to change this password later in the settings (Security tab) to a more complex one. If you indicated your mobile phone number during registration, the access password and the single wallet number will be reset to you in an SMS message. A special feature of EK W1 is that you don’t have to reveal your main password (especially on other people’s computers).

you can use temporary password to enter the Unified Wallet, which will only be valid for ten minutes:

Depending on the login method, this temporary (one-time) password will be sent either by E-mail or as an SMS message to the cell phone number you specified during registration. It’s very convenient, in my opinion, and it increases security significantly, especially when using a mobile phone number as a login.

The registration process, and even working with Wallet One, can be carried out from a mobile phone. It is clear that to do this, you can simply go to the W1 website through your mobile phone browser. However, there are ones designed for different platforms mobile versions for working with a single wallet:

Features of transfers in the Unified Wallet

The web interface on the official payment website is quite simple and intuitive. In the upper right corner you will see your twelve-digit number, and you can also see the current balance of funds and inquire about incoming notifications. From the balance menu it is also possible to perform all operations with your account, which are also available on the main page:

I’ll immediately focus on one feature of the W1 system. When you receive a transfer (no commission is charged for transferring funds within the system), the money does not automatically drop into your wallet. To do this, you will still need to confirm this payment. The same applies to transfers you make - until your opponent confirms acceptance of the money transferred to him, you are free to cancel the payment.

But after confirmation, you won’t be able to cancel it, although in Wallet One you can be safe from a possible error and in advance protect payment with protection, i.e. a special code, without entering which the opponent will not receive money into his account. You can also set the expiration date for the protection code, after which your money will be returned to you:

Personally, I try to make all payments with security protection in order to avoid unnecessary overlays (we are all human and prone to making mistakes).

Also, as with any other payment system, you are free to issue an invoice. What is noteworthy is that in the Unified Wallet you can make a transfer or issue an invoice even to an opponent who is not registered in it. To do this, for example, when issuing an invoice, you will have to indicate either the opponent’s E-mail address or his cell phone number:

The W1 system will honestly warn you that such a user is not registered in it, but will still allow you to issue an invoice. In this case, a new wallet will be promptly created with the Email (or cell phone number) you specified as a login.

The password and other explanations will be sent to the newly contacted client of the Wallet One system either by mail or in an SMS message:

How to replenish a single wallet and withdraw funds, what is protected money

Such are the things. You can top up your W1 wallet in a thousand and one ways, but there are some nuances. Firstly, not all methods are equally free. Where they won’t charge you interest, there will be a zero, but in other cases you will need to click on the icon and look at the commission percentage for depositing money this way:

Secondly, funds can be deposited in five different currencies: rubles (RUB), dollars (USD), tenge (KZT), hryvnia (UAH) and South African rand (ZAR). Replenishment is also possible in cash, for example, through ATMs, payment machines (for example), instant payment services or communication shops (it will be enough to give the number of your single wallet). For Russia, there is still the option of replenishing through post offices.

Replenishment by non-cash means a transfer from a Visa or MasterCard card (allowing you to make payments on the Internet), as well as a direct bank payment using the specified details. This is where the ambush lies. If you top up your account with a payment card, then in the future you can spend this money only on a very limited set of services, because in this case the entered amount falls under the “Protected Money” provision.

They cannot be transferred to another wallet in Wallet One or other payment systems, they cannot be used to pay for goods in online stores and loans, and they cannot be withdrawn. A nightmare, and that's all. Users who do not know this are stumped when they try to pay for prohibited items using funds entered from the card (the system in this case simply indicates a lack of funds in the account).

To spend secure money from a single wallet You can only use the following services:

In addition, to top up with a plastic card, you will have to provide your passport information and verify it (prove ownership). An amount of up to ten rubles will be withdrawn from the card, and your task will be to indicate the exact amount of money withdrawn (you can view it through Internet banking or ask the bank operator by phone).

Why do you need to endure all these hardships and problems that arise along the way? It turns out that in order to get possibility to withdraw your payment, as is customary to do when using plastic cards. If this feature is not critical for you, then it is better not to bother with protected money in W1 and enter funds into the system in another way. What is noteworthy is that replenishment from plastic is carried out through the mediation we have already discussed earlier.

For example, you can top up your account using the already mentioned Likpay, Qiwi, RBC, or. Inside the Unified Wallet, you can exchange any of the five internal currencies (W1 RUB, W1 USD, UAH, KZT, ZAR) for another. The course is quite acceptable, in my opinion:

Well, I should say a few words about withdrawing funds from W1. Withdrawal methods are provided for three main currencies (rubles, dollars and hryvnia), excluding the South African currency, which can only be withdrawn on Skype. The most options will be offered for withdrawing rubles:

Opposite each withdrawal method is the commission that will be charged to you. The highest (5%) is for postal transfers, and without commission you can only buy Ukash electronic vouchers (one of the ways to anonymously pay for services and goods on the Internet). Some transfers in Wallet One will be completed almost instantly, while others will take time to complete.

Single cash desk from W1 for accepting payments on the website

A couple of years ago, Wallet One invited all Internet businessmen to install a form on their website that would allow them to accept payments in any way convenient for visitors.

Through this cash desk, buyers will be able to pay for goods or services both in cash (payment terminals, communication shops, large hypermarkets, banks, post offices or money transfer systems) and non-cash (cards, bank transfer), as well as using their existing electronic currencies .

The Unified Cashier does not charge any additional commission, but intermediaries will still charge you the amount due to them (see details). To activate payment acceptance, you need to enable this function in your account settings (Settings - Online store) and fill out the fields available there:

You will have to confirm the right to own the site specified when activating the cash register in one of two proposed ways - either add a file with the desired name to the root folder of your website, or add the required meta tag between the Head tags of your template code. I would choose the first method so as not to litter the page code.

Look demonstration of the work of the United Checkout can be found at the link provided.

Read more about the technical side of connecting a cash register to your website. There you can create and configure a payment form, which you will then transfer to your online store. If your website runs on , and your online store is implemented using , then you can look at a small tutorial on connecting the Unified Cash Register to your brainchild:

That's all I wanted to say about Wallet One. It turns out that this thing is useful and necessary in the household, if, of course, everything works as intended. And what do you think?

Good luck to you! See you soon on the pages of the blog site
