How to get subscribers on YouTube. How to gain subscribers on YouTube: I share paid and free methods

But here's the thing. To start earning at least some pennies on this site, you need to connect to the Google Ads affiliate program. Once you do this, the program will show advertisements in your videos. At the same time, if your viewers click on such an ad, a pretty penny will drop for you.

In a separate article, I already told you how much you can actually earn from Google Adsense. Read it to understand and broaden your horizons.

So, in order to connect this very program to your Youtube channel, you must have 1000 subscribers on your channel and 4000 hours of views over the last 12 months.

As soon as the channel reaches the above indicators, it will be checked and, perhaps, connected to the Google Adsense affiliate program. Or they won't connect. It depends on your luck.

That is why all YouTubers strive to quickly reach the coveted number of 1000 subscribers and get 4000 views of their videos.

With this, I think, everything is clear.

How to get the first 1000 (thousand) subscribers on YouTube (YouTube)

Now comes the fun part.

OK! We set a goal to reach a thousand subscribers. How to do it?!

Here I will share my personal experience and tell you what helped my channel achieve its desired results. I will also tell you what is stopping your channel from reaching 1000 subscribers and what problems you may encounter.

1. Decide on a topic. A lot depends on this

Here I would advise you to do what you like. Yes, making automotive videos, for example, can be a profitable venture, but if you don't like cars and aren't interested in this topic, it's better to choose something else.

Because you will need to devote a lot of time to the channel. Videos will need to be released regularly. They must be interesting to the public. Otherwise, you won't succeed.

In a word, if you are not passionate about cars, it is better to abandon the idea of starting a car channel just because it is a popular direction.

The same applies to any other topics. And any business.

The second point is that it is very desirable to have some expertise in the issues that you cover.

For example, if you run a cooking channel and teach people how to cook properly, you should be able to do it! I’m not saying that you need to be a chef in a cool restaurant (although it wouldn’t hurt), but at least understand the topic.

If you run a business column where you tell people how to make money, how to trade correctly, what is the best way to trade, etc., you yourself must be an entrepreneur/businessman. Otherwise, you will be no different from those guys who talk a lot, but don’t do a damn thing or do it for show.

If you are telling how to build a house, you must have construction education and experience in this field.

I think you understand me.

Not only will your expertise help a huge number of people, but it can also give you additional clients. And this, in turn, is additional income.

They will help you become financially independent.

Returning to my channel, I want to say that I chose the niche that I like most. I'm just filming my life. A little about business, a little about travel, and a lot about everyday life.

I reasoned that every human life is unique. And people really love to observe other people's lives.

And then, for me, YouTube is a great way to switch from my main job (who doesn’t know, I am an adviser to a Kyiv law firm - Austin) to relaxation. So why even be clever in the video and sprinkle in links to regulatory documents?!

Therefore, shoot what, firstly, gives you pleasure, and secondly, helps other people solve their problems and/or satisfy certain needs (some people just want to observe other people’s lives, others want to get an answer to a question : “How to quickly gain 1000 subscribers on YouTube”, someone - learn how to properly lay parquet in the hallway). To each his own.

Without regularly releasing videos (no matter how great they are), YouTube will not promote your channel/video.

For example, to our second channel Just Tricks we uploaded videos once every two weeks. And then they stopped doing it altogether. As a result, there are only 79 subscribers (although there were 81). And the number of views is so deplorable that it’s a shame to even write about it.

Although the content is interesting, in my opinion!

The main channel is updated regularly and views are growing. As is the number of subscribers.

I even conducted a very interesting experiment, trying to understand how accurate Socialblade's Future Projections forecasts for the growth of subscribers and views on the channel are. You can check it out.

This experiment once again confirmed the fact how important it is to regularly publish new videos on the channel.

Do you want to be watched? Give people normal picture and sound!

4. Make a beautiful channel header

It is important. Your channel should be your own brand. The header should fully reflect the theme of the channel, so that a casual user can immediately understand what you are filming and whether you can be of any use to them. Again, satisfy the need for entertainment, educational content and/or solve a specific problem.

A clear, understandable channel header will reduce the number of unsubscribes, which will have a favorable effect on the promotion of your videos.

5. Give your videos beautiful thumbnail images

This is a really bomb theme that works!

Beautiful previews are clicked on much more often than a regular “software” screenshot from a video.

Therefore, make your thumbnails bright and memorable, which you would like to click on.

However, don't overdo it. Don't put anything in your pictures that isn't in your content. Very often, novice video bloggers “lure” viewers with pictures of some half-naked girls, although there are no traces of girls in their videos. As a result, the boys are sent cars of dislikes and their video with such a beautiful picture of a sexy nymph does not take off anywhere.

6. Come up with catchy titles for your videos!

They get clicked on much more often than the usual hackneyed names.

You can call the video: “Review of the “Drunk Jerboa” style,” or you can: “SENSATION! You haven't seen anything like this! Drunken jerboa style!"

What name would you personally fall for?!

7. Optimize your videos

I always optimize my videos. I write down the video description and tags. And although they say that the description of a video has virtually no effect on its promotion (YouTube itself reads the speech, the picture and understands what is being said), I’m used to making it convenient for users.

So that they can quickly get information about what the video will be about. See useful links, follow if desired, etc.

8. Hold competitions by collaborating with other bloggers

You can be any cool guy you want, with charisma and drive. You can make awesome videos, but if people don’t know about them, you’ll still sigh sadly and wonder: “Why aren’t they watching me? After all, I’m filming something worthwhile!

Yes, it’s easier to get on YouTube than if you start a personal blog (YouTube often helps small channels by giving them a chance and adding them to recommended lists), but not as easy as you think.

Because the competition is not just huge, but unreal! Every minute (think about it, every minute!) new videos are uploaded to YouTube. And every author is eager to gain as many subscribers and views as possible. Do you now understand why advertising is so important?

You need to let everyone around you know that you have a great channel and content. And to do this, you need to attract attention.

Be sure to read it. After all, if you don’t know how to do it correctly, you can simply lose money without receiving anything. No subscribers, no views.

How do contests with prizes work?!

In my experience, they work, but not the way I would like (and I always want a lot at once).

So, after one such competition, about 100 people from 2000 subscribers on the channel of one author came to my channel in a day.

9. Make serial content

You need to achieve audience retention on your channel. Make content you don't want to miss.

Shoot a video in several parts, thereby stirring up the public’s interest and getting people hooked on your videos.

10. Share your videos wherever you can get your hands on

The more people share your video, the better. And the faster it will gain views.

Important Points and Takeaways on How to Get 1000 Subscribers on YouTube

2. It’s very important to make videos! And do it interestingly, creatively, serially and regularly.

Put yourself in the shoes of your viewer and ask the question - would I watch this? If the answer is yes, you can try!

3. It is important to do what you really like. After all, this is the only way you can ensure the regular release of new videos and find ways to improve your content.

4. A little trick on choosing a niche: if you want to check whether the topic will work or not, just look for similar channels with the videos that you plan to shoot. If they have 100 thousand or more subscribers (and there are several such channels) – the game is worth the candle!

5. Is it possible to get 1000 subscribers to a channel?

Can. There are many paid services on the Internet. But, firstly, according to the YouTube community rules, which I talked about in this article, such actions are prohibited (your channel may be blocked or simply not approved for its monetization).

And secondly, gaining subscribers will give you absolutely nothing, just beautiful numbers next to the subscribe button. This will not increase views (for which, in fact, you are paid). But you will lose your money.

Well, friends. That's all for now.

Sincerely,

In today’s article I want to continue the topic of YouTube and talk about how to gain subscribers on YouTube for free. Why is it necessary to have many subscribers on your YouTube channel? Probably because video today is best perceived by blog readers, and it’s not for nothing that YouTube is now the leader in video blogging and marketing.

If you have your own YouTube channel, I'm sure you want to know how you can increase the number of subscribers to your channel and increase the number of views.

With over a billion monthly views, YouTube provides an audience for almost any video you upload. If you are a mime performer, a fashionista, give advice on technical devices, or just like to joke, then YouTube helps you promote your profession or hobby. If you are good at something, YouTube is an excellent platform to demonstrate your expertise, since there are a huge number of people who want to learn a certain area, but do not have enough information about it.

YouTube is a great platform for bloggers who want to make their readers feel connected to them. YouTube provides an opportunity to gain an undeniable advantage in the near future. An opportunity for bloggers to dramatically increase blog traffic by simply encouraging visitors to subscribe to their channel.

How to gain subscribers on YouTube for free in 12 ways

Below are several effective ways to gain YouTube subscribers for your YouTube channel, without using friends or anyone else.

Creating a script for recording video

The first step in promoting a channel is to plan how you are going to structure its themes. Decide what you love to create and focus on developing similar skills, not copying popular videos, but doing what you love, you will be more likely to succeed in promoting a YouTube channel. As a rule, a video looks better if it is made according to a clearly defined structure and, moreover, this approach to creating a video makes it more effective. The written script also allows you to make sure that the material is presented in the correct sequence, and the result will be a well-executed video lesson for your audience.

Create an engaging video

Recording a catchy video requires maximum effort. Create content that is engaging, informative, and somewhat entertaining. If you don't create catchy pop-ups like subscribe to the channel, then don't be surprised if channel subscribers won't be added. Upload videos that are both informative and entertaining, if possible. And then, after watching, users will have no choice but to click on the button to subscribe to the channel.

Increase your video upload frequency

Of course, it's easier said than done, but you can't ignore this fact. The main reason why someone clicks on the subscribe button is that people like the material that is published on this channel and they want to receive it more often. Subscribers usually don’t like that the channel is not regularly updated with new videos. Consistency is the key to developing long-lasting relationships between existing subscribers and attracting new ones.

Add new videos regularly. Try to post them once a week or at least twice a month. Stick to a schedule, and on days when no video is created, your reputation can be considered somewhat diminished. Whatever the case may be, make sure that the schedule is always visible and the videos are downloaded according to the schedule.

Come up with custom headings

  • Use Yandex Wordstat to determine what search queries people are entering. Try to record a video that combines a high number of requests and low competition
  • You also need to limit the title length of the recorded video. Google limits video title length to 66 characters
  • Create a title description that lets visitors know what the video tutorial is about.

Create catchy titles that also include keyword queries so that your video tutorials convert better.

Make your channel as personalized as possible

If you want your channel visitors to trust you more, you should use all the customization options that YouTube offers. To do this, you can make the channel visually attractive so that it immediately provides the opportunity to show you as a person, thereby showing you from a professional side.

I’ll stop here, although there are several other ways to gain subscribers on YouTube for free. But perhaps I’ll talk about them in the next article, otherwise the article turned out to be quite lengthy. And of course, if you know any other methods, be sure to describe them in the comments, I will only be grateful to you for it!

Want to know how to get 1000 subscribers on your YouTube channel? In this article I will talk about 9 steps towards this goal. You can also go straight to watching the video.

Step 1 - Traffic

Drive as much traffic as possible to your videos. The point is that right now no one knows about your channel. You need to give as much traffic as possible so that more people know about it. If you have a subscription base in a mailing service, then write a letter about this video and send it to the base. It will get views, and some of the subscribers will become subscribers on the YouTube channel as well. If you have promoted social networks. networks, don’t forget to post videos there. In this way (completely free, I want to note) you can gain 1000 subscribers on YouTube.

Step 2 - Channel Design

This advice is a must-use if you are wondering: “How to get 1000 subscribers on a YouTube channel?”

You need to make high-quality and correct design. The fact is that the majority (60 percent) of users subscribe from the main page of the channel. That is, most people subscribe to the channel only after going to the main page.

Therefore, design plays a very important role in recruiting subscribers. Make the right header that will match the theme of the channel. Also choose a certain style for all previous preview pictures. If a certain style can be traced there, and not just still frames from videos, this will definitely increase the percentage of subscriptions to the channel.

Step 3 - Keywords

Collect at least 50, and preferably 100, key queries for which you will continue to shoot videos. The “I shoot everything” method is not particularly effective. You should focus on those topics and queries that will be of interest to your target audience. Make short videos on these 50-100 topics. They will appear in searches, and your target audience will begin to find you.

Due to this, you will receive new views and, most importantly, new subscribers who will continue to watch your videos. It's very easy to do. Use two services: Wordstat from Yandex and keyword planner from Google AdWords. With their help, you can find key queries for future videos.

Step 4 - Competitor Analysis

A competent analysis will also help in solving the question “how to get 1000 subscribers on YouTube.” Analyze your competitors. In each topic there are videos that get more views, and there are videos that get fewer views. Analyze the first category. They are more interesting to viewers and receive more traffic. Read the comments that users write under these videos. Pay attention to the shortcomings. You can correct them already in your videos, and this can greatly improve the quality of your content.

Step 5 - Shoot, shoot and shoot some more

If you don’t know how to get 1000 subscribers on YouTube, then your task at this stage is to shoot as many videos as possible and post them on the channel as often as possible. You don't have many followers yet, so give them as many chances as possible to find you. Accordingly, the more videos you have on your channel, the greater the chance that your target audience will find them in a search query or in relevant (similar) videos.

Step 6 - The quality of the picture can be neglected

Image quality may be sacrificed. Spending a whole week on professional editing with animation is impractical. Especially at the initial stage. The most important thing is the quality of the content you provide in your videos. Let the videos be shot on a phone, let them be without professional editing, but the quality of the content, the information itself that you give, must be at its best. This is your task. It is through content that you will attract subscribers.

Step 7 - Encourage people to subscribe

Make a call to subscribe to the channel in each of the videos. If there is no call, most users simply will not subscribe to the channel. They will watch the video and move on. After all, this happens very often, judge for yourself. We went to the first, second, third channel, watched several videos and no longer remember which video was the first. What is the benefit of this to the author? Viewing only. No, it won't do. You need subscribers. Therefore, a video call-out is the main tool you should use to attract subscribers.

Step 8 - To get 1000 subscribers on your YouTube channel, use social networks

Step 9 - Don't give up!

The last piece of advice I will give you is probably the most important. Don't give up, keep moving towards your goal. Getting 1000 subscribers on a YouTube channel is difficult not so much technically as morally. Because there are no subscribers yet, therefore, views are slow, subscribers are gained slowly, and the effect is almost not felt. That is, there is no quick result, no income and even moral satisfaction.

The most important thing is don’t give up, keep going! Shoot a video, don't give up. And you will see that everything will work out.

And finally, I would like to wish you good luck in the development of your channels, and so that the question “how to get 1000 subscribers on YouTube” no longer weighs on you.

Hello, friends! I always say that the most important thing in the success of any blogger is subscribers. And that’s why today I want to tell you about how to gain subscribers to your blog through Youtube. In this case, no special technical skills are required from you, except for the presence of a ready-made video channel. Therefore, read and see how, with a few simple steps, you can force viewers of your channel to subscribe not only to the channel, but also to make a transition to your blog or subscription page, or to any other site of your choice!

The paradox of the situation is that on the Internet, most users behave, as in real life, according to the good old principle “Until the thunder strikes...”. That is why, no matter what wonderful or super useful video you upload on your video channel, you need to tell the viewer what you want from them. So it turns out that the content of the video, although the main one, is not always the decisive factor.

Of course, from the point of view of promoting a video channel, a hint to the viewer should be in the form of a call to subscribe to the channel, like or leave a comment... Well, if you are gaining subscribers to your blog, offering any services, then in this case there should also be appropriate content .

You can give such hints by voice, or you can leave the necessary links in the description, but the viewer these days is not very inclined to look for lines in the description. In this case, it’s better to show him everything right away on the viewing screen. And this is not at all difficult to do, especially since YouTube itself implements such an opportunity in a very accessible way. Read on and you will immediately understand everything.

So, you go to Youtube and log in to your Google account:

In the left column, select “My Channel” and after loading it, you need to click the “Video Manager” text above the channel header.

You will see a list of all videos uploaded on your channel. All videos are arranged by publication date, with the most recent one always displayed at the top. Next, select the video you want to edit and click on the black triangle next to “Edit.” In the drop-down menu, click on the inscription “Annotation”.

An editor page will open in front of you, on which there is a preview screen with a timeline at the bottom, and several buttons on the right. You need an "Add Annotation" button. When you click it, a list of possible forms for creating an annotation opens. Click on the one that suits you best.

After this, you will immediately be able to edit the content and design of the created annotation. In the text field you need to enter the content of the appeal message to your viewer. For example, “like the video, like it”, “subscribe to the channel”, etc. Breaking to a new line is allowed here. Below the text field you can set the font size, color and background. The entire process is immediately displayed on the preview screen.

Your annotation will initially appear and be displayed at the location where the replay marker is when it was created. By simply dragging the mouse, you can install it anywhere on the screen, and if you hover the cursor over a corner, hold down the left mouse button and drag it to the side, you can thereby set the size.

The location and time duration can be changed directly on the timeline or set in the corresponding playback start and end windows, which are located on the right. The second method allows you to more precisely adjust the appearance and disappearance, which in some cases is very necessary.

For calls like “Like” and “Leave a comment,” you don’t need to do anything else. Just click the “Apply Changes” button at the top right and all changes will immediately appear in your video.

But in order to link a video, ask the viewer to subscribe to the channel or bring him to your blog, subscription page or product page, you will naturally need to add the appropriate link. To do this, click on the checkbox next to the “Link” button

Immediately after this, the following menu will appear:

You need to click on the black triangle next to the words “Video” and in the drop-down menu, select “Subscribe” - for a call to subscribe, “Video” - for linking, or “Linked website” - for going to an external resource.

After selecting the redirection mode, you need to insert your link. Of course, it would be a good idea to check its functionality by clicking on the “check link” sign. If everything is fine, then click the “Save Changes” button at the top right again.

There is one feature here: from Youtube you can freely link to your site confirmed in this video hosting, and access to all third-party resources is possible only through a redirect. The easiest way to do a redirect is to use a plugin "Link Hider". It is free, you can read about working with it, and on the same page there is a link to download it.

The method of using annotations described above is good for everyone, but it is far from the only one. With a little effort, you can replace the standard annotations with your own. And so that you can clearly see this process, and at the same time see the work techniques described above, I asked my assistant to record a video that you can watch right now. It is small, but very visual.

Are you sure there are no particular difficulties? Of course, the second method is good, although you need to get a little creative with graphics and video in advance, but you will agree that it is worth it. I think that you will not be slow to put this knowledge into practice and, accordingly, get the effect in the form of new subscribers or conversion of your offers. Still, with proper management of your video channel, you can achieve good results in affiliate marketing. Write in the comments if this article was useful.
